Membership Benefits
  • A discount ticket price of $5.00 per performance (regular box office price is $15.00 for all shows). Come to as many performances as you like.  In addition, if you contact the Hospitality Committee prior to the performance you wish to attend and serve as an usher and help with the refreshment sales, the $5.00 fee will be waived.
  • A subscription to the MLT Newsletter, The Muse.
  • An Invitation to the Annual MLT Awards banquet.  A ballot will be sent to you so you will have an opportunity to vote for the annual awards.
  • An Invitation to the annual MLT Christmas Party.
  • An invitation to the Annual General Membership Meeting and the party held each May when new board members are elected and annual reports are presented.  Yow will have the opportunity to run for the Board of Directors as a MLT member.
  • A standing Invitation to the monthly Membership Meeting held on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm, in the upstairs lobby of the theater.
Membership is a privilege that we extend to willing participants. As part of the membership process, please indicate below the committee(s) where you are willing to participate. You will be contacted by that committee.
Art Exhibit Contacts various groups/individuals to exhibit art during each production.
Awards Banquet Coordinates, oversees, and carries out the MLT annual banquet.
Box Office Coordinates reservations, seating, and staffing of the Box Office.
Building Maintenance Repairs and maintains the building.
Business Manager Sells and manages the benefit shows and custodial contracts.
Costumes Creates, assists producers, maintains and oversees MLT costume room.
Education/Juniors Promotes educational activities and oversees Junior Program.
Finance & Budget Oversees the theater's financial planning and production budgets.
Foundations & Grants Fundraise through requests to foundations and grant applications.
Fundraising Helps raise extra money for the theater's daily operations and expenses.
Historian/Librarian Keeps and updates the MLT library and preserves the MLT memorabilia.
Hospitality Supervises and oversees ushers and concessions during performances.
Membership Recruits members and develops plans for special membership functions.
Newsletter Oversees the publishing and distribution of a monthly MLT newsletter.
Nominating Coordinates MLT Board elections and MLT General Membership Meeting.
Play Research Helps choose scripts and directors/producers for the next year's season.
Programs/Advertising Sells advertising space and compiles MLT playbills for each production.
Publicity Prepares press releases and notices for performances and special events.
Props & Sets Acquires, maintains, and controls all MLT props and set pieces.
Subscriptions Manages and promotes MLT subscriptions, and develops subscriber relations.
